Women's Basketball Spends Snow Day By Bonding

Queens, N.Y. --- Forced to spend the majority of Thursday in the hotel by the snow storm in New York, the Creighton women's basketball team made the most of their opportunity.

To keep in shape the Bluejays used the fitness center machines, ran the hotel stairs and held snowball fights.
To maintain on-court strategy the Bluejays formed sides in heated UNO contests.
To improve basketball team IQ and prepare for the battle with St. John's, the squad watched film of the Red Storm and used a game of Kahoot to enhance their knowledge of one another.

With the snow storm having passed, the Bluejays will head to Carnesecca Gym tomorrow morning for a brief shoot-around, then battle the Red Storm at 6:00 pm. Watch the game on the BIG EAST Digital Network starting at 6:00 pm (CT).
