
BIG EAST Announces 2017 Fall BEDN Schedule

NEW YORK, N.Y. – The BIG EAST announced its fall lineup for the BIG EAST Digital Network (BEDN) on Thursday featuring 86 regular-season contests and five championships across five sports: men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, field hockey and cross country.
Programming for the 2017-18 season once again includes 73 women's basketball games, 70 men's and women's soccer matches, plus 15 volleyball, 10 baseball, 10 softball and six lacrosse games and one field hockey contest. BEDN will also cover all 36 BIG EAST Championships, which are presented by Jeep.
The Bluejays will be featured on a total of 18 times. Both the men's and women's soccer teams will have seven BIG EAST matches carried on BEDN, while the Bluejay volleyball squad can be seen four times.
Creighton will also offer nine additional contests (three men's soccer and six volleyball matches) on the Fox Sports Go app. Each home Bluejay contest throughout the regular-season for women's soccer, men's soccer and volleyball are available free of charge on either the Fox Sports Go app or at GoCreighton.com.
BEDN, the BIG EAST's branded channel on FOX Sports Go, will showcase conference soccer matches in the fall, streaming 35 men's game and 35 women's games, which includes full coverage of the opening weekend for both men's and women's soccer and all games in the final four match dates as the teams jockey for the six spots in the BIG EAST Championship.
BEDN men's soccer coverage kicks off Sept. 16 and concludes Nov. 4 and Nov. 8 with the BIG EAST Championship First Round and Semifinals. The championship final will air on FS2 on Sunday, Nov. 12 at noon Eastern. Women's soccer starts the weekend of Sept. 23 with two games on Saturday and three on Sunday and will finish with the BIG EAST Championship First Round and Semifinals on Oct. 29 and Nov. 2. The women's soccer championship final will air on FS1 on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m. ET.
BIG EAST Volleyball coverage will start Friday, Sept. 22 with 15 regular-season games and the BIG EAST Championship semifinals on Friday, Nov. 24. BEDN will have full coverage of the final weekend of regular-season action featuring four games on Friday, Nov. 17 and the final match on Saturday, Nov. 18. The volleyball championship final will air on FS2 on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
Championship coverage begins for BEDN on Saturday, Oct. 28 with coverage of the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships hosted by the conference alongside Marquette at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis.
When the BIG EAST launched the Digital Network in 2014-15, the league became the first collegiate conference to be hosted on FOX Sports Go, the app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on-the-go. In 2015-16, the league expanded BEDN to include 225 live events, doubling the number from the first year.
FOX Sports GO is currently available for iOS, Android, Kindle Fire tablets and Fire phones, select Windows devices, and on desktops through FOXSportsGO.com. Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
