Nine Members of the Creighton Rowing Squad Earn 2017 CRCA Scholar Athlete Awards

Omaha, Neb. -- Nine members of the Creighton Rowing Team were named 2017 Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) National Scholar-Athletes on Wednesday, May 31.
To qualify for this honor a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above, be in at least her second year of eligibility, have participated in at least 75% of the spring races (or in a regional conference event),
Juniors Samantha Erickson, Maddie Eyer, Alyssa Freitas, Emily Graupman, Audrey Sisel and Caitlyn Ward as well as sophomores Madison Heinrich, Elizabeth (Liz) Maynard and McKinley Wilson earned the honor for the Bluejays.
