Forecast of Freezing Weather Cancels Baseball's Wednesday Contest at South Dakota State

Bluejays Tuesday Home Game with Wichita State Remains a 6:30 pm start
Omaha, Neb. -- Wednesday schedule baseball contest between the Creighton Bluejays and the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in Brookings, S.D., has been cancelled due to forecasted freezing conditions.
The forecast calls for temperatures to reach a high of 38 degrees on Wednesday, with the temp the time of the 6:30 scheduled first pitch to be lower as the real feel to reach the low 20s.
Based on the expected conditions both coaches agreed Monday morning to cancel the game. The two squads will look for a date to reschedule, but one could not immediately be set.
Creighton's Tuesday night home game with Wichita State remains as scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.
