Creighton hosts Seton Hall for a Friday-Saturday BIG EAST series. With the exception of the Bluejays' trip to Kansas City on Tuesday, April 18 for a doubleheader against UMKC, the Jays will play eight home games over the course of 14 days (April 14-27).Â

Scouting Creighton (12-22, 3-6 BIG EAST)
The Bluejays snapped a five-game losing skid with a 12-3 victory at Villanova during the final game of a three-game BIG EAST series (April 9).
Tash Coffiel leads the Creighton offense wth a .343 batting average and 35 hits. During nine BIG EAST games, Coffiel is hitting .455 with a conference-best 15 hits.Â
Sam Dellinger paces the Jays with 24 RBIs and 10 extra-base hits (six doubles, four home runs).Â
Dellinger also owns a team-low 3.47 ERA in 40.1 innings pitched during 13 appearances, including six starts. She has two complete games, two wins and two saves.Â
Bryana Clark has logged a team-high 94.0 innings in the circle and holds a 3.65 ERA with six victories and six complete games.
Five different Bluejays are hitting above .300 during BIG EAST play as the team owns a .288 average through nine league games.
Scouting Seton Hall (19-15-1, 5-4 BIG EAST)
The Pirates picked up their first BIG EAST series victory last weekend, taking the final two games at home against Georgetown.
Seton Hall leads all of Divison I in doubles per game (2.00) with 70 through 35 games.Â
Two-time All-BIG EAST selection Alexis Walkden leads Seton Hall in nearly every offense category with 41 hits (.376 average), 35 runs, 14 doubles, 10 home runs and 29 RBIs.Â
Lauren Fischer paces the squad with 32 walks and a .508 on-base percentage. Fischer also has nine home runs and 24 RBIs.Â
The Pirates lead the BIG EAST with 52 stolen bases. Brianna Wallace has 13 steals, while Valerie Suto has 11.
In the circle, three different pitchers have started at least seven games. BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week Reganne Camp holds a team-best 3.44 ERA in 61.0 innings.Â
Head coach Paige Smith is in her fifth season at Seton Hall.Â

Last Time Out
Creighton lost the first two games of a weekend series at Villanova before scoring 12 runs to take the final contest of the weekend and snap a five-game losing streak.
The Wildcats swept the Bluejays by scores of 5-3 and 7-0 on Saturday (April 8).
Sam Dellinger and Anna O'Gorman combined to go 5-for-6 with three RBIs during game one, but the rest of the lineup managed only two hits.
Creighton tallied only four hits and was shutout for the seventh time this season during the second game.Â
On Sunday (April 9), the Jays scored eight runs during the seventh inning and tied season-highs for runs (12) and hits (14) in a single game during a 12-3 victory over Villanova.Â
Six different Creighton hitters recorded two hits, and four had multiple RBIs.Â
Seventh-Inning Outburst
Creighton scored eight runs during the seventh inning during the final game of its three-game series at Villanova (April 8-9).
The Bluejays scored nine runs during the seventh inning earlier this season against Weber State (9-6 win on Feb. 25).
The Jays have outscored their opponents 23-8 during the final frame this season (34 games).Â
Last season, Creighton scored only nine runs during the seventh inning across all 47 games.
During the 2012 season, CU scored 28 runs during the seventh-inning (54 games) the most in that frame since 1997.Â
Bats Come Alive
The Bluejays tied season-highs for hits and runs scored when Creighton recorded 14 hits and 12 runs during Sunday's contest at Villanova.
The Jays also scored 12 runs against Valparaiso (March 17) and had 14 hits against Weber State (Feb. 25).
Creighton is 9-2 when outhitting its opponent, including 6-1 when recording 10 or more base knocks. By comparasion, the Jays are 3-19 when they are outhit by the opposition (0-1 when hits are tied).Â
Slump Busted
Jen Daro entered Sunday's contest 0-for-13 through the first eight conference games before launching a solo home run during the bottom of the third against Villanova.Â
Daro also added a single during the fifth to finish the day 2-for-2.Â
The senior's third-inning home run marked her first extra-base and RBI since March 5 (home run vs. Maine).Â
