Men's Tennis Finishes Spring Break Trip With Strong Showing Against Marian

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Creighton men's tennis team picked up a 7-0 win over Marian on Thursday morning at the Lake Cane Tennis Center, during its fourth match in Florida.
The Bluejays finished the week 2-2, and are now 5-8 overall.
Creighton did not drop a set on its way to an unblemished victory against the Knights.
The Jays won 6-1, 6-4 and 6-0 in the three doubles positions to claim the first point of the match.
During singles play, Aaron Chalstrom did not lose a game on his way to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. The senior is now 5-4 this season.
Jake Glazer (No. 5), Brooks Kendall (4) and Harrison Lang (1) each picked up straight-sets victories and are now tied for the team-lead with six singles wins.
Lang also picked up his 50th career singles victory.
Armando Gandini (No. 2) and Alex Koca (3) both picked their fifth victories of the season.

"Our guys took care of business and were able to overcome any tough situations that came up," head coach Tom Lilly said. "We need to continue working on doubles and individual games. We have a better team than our record shows at this point, but we still have another month and a half to go."
Creighton returns to the courts March 19 against Doane to begin a stretch of four consecutive home matches.
