Hugunin Named to Women's Soccer Academic All-District First Team

Omaha, Neb. -- Creighton women's soccer senior Darby Hugunin was named to the CoSida Academic All-District Seven First Team on Thursday, Nov. 9. A fifth-year senior for the Bluejays, Hugunin entered the fall with a 3.98 cumulative GPA. She graduated last spring with an Accounting Major and is working towards a masters in the same field.
On the field, Hugunin played all but six minutes (1,692) during her final season as a Bluejay. She fired off 21 shots, but did not record a point. During her career she appeared in 71 matches, notching 53 starts and a combined 4,896 minutes on the pitch for Creighton. She collected a combined five goals and three assists, including the game-winner in Creighton's game-winning goal against local rival Nebraska-Omaha in 2015.
