Keys to the Game w/Nebraska
Family Rivalry Taken up a Notch
Sunday will mark the first time that Creighton's Brooke Kissinger will be asked to play on the opposite side of her sister, Nebraska's Taylor Kissinger. Three years older than Taylor, Brooke began her collegiate career at Illinois, but she transferred to Creighton last season.
Back-to-Back Birthdays for Baby Birds
Both the game on Tuesday as well as Sunday's battle with Nebraska hold a little extra motivation for freshman Tatum Rembao and Temi Carda. Rembao celebrated her 19th birthday with her first eight points as a Bluejay on Tuesday, while Carda looks to bring home a victory.

Bird Seeds
- The Bluejays are looking for their first victory in Lincoln since 1993 and its first two-game winning streak against the Huskers since 1994.
- Creighton lost back-to-back games just once last season, dropping the first two contests of 2016-17.
- Sunday's contest begins a stretch of four games in six days as the Bluejays face Nebraska, Northern Iowa (Tuesday) before traveling to Las Vegas for a the South Point Shootout. In that tournament Creighton will battle Washington on Friday and UCLA the following evening.
- The running series with Nebraska has been played for 37 consecutive seasons, the longest consecutive series with any team for the Bluejays.
- This will be the third time the Bluejays will play in Pinnacle Bank Arena.
- Located in Lincoln, Nebraska
- The Huskers are coached by 1998 Nebraska graduate Amy Williams.
- In her second season with the Huskers, Williams led South Dakota to the WNIT Championship during 2015-16. She has a 203-131 career record in ten seasons, including a 10-22 mark with Nebraska.

Keys to the Game w/Nebraska
- Focus within: Creighton's biggest challenge this season will be controlling themselves. For the Bluejays to be successful they will need to take care of the basketball and execute offensively.
- Win the turnover battle: Nebraska has averaged 15 turnovers per game thus far, the Bluejays must be at least five better than the Huskers.
- Defend the post: Versus South Dakota the Bluejays were hurt by the post play of Kate Liveringhouse (18 points). Nebraska's Cain is likely more dangerous than Liveringhouse, so Creighton will rely on its posts to improve defensively.
