OMAHA, Neb. -- Single-game tickets for all 2017-18 Creighton men's and women's basketball exhibition and regular season home games will go on sale on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m.
Fans can purchase tickets to any game by stopping by the CenturyLink Center Omaha Box Office (men's only), the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center Ticket Office on Creighton's campus. Fans can also purchase tickets in advance, by charging by phone via Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or charging online at Ticketmaster.com.
Head coach Greg McDermott's men's basketball team will open the season on Friday, Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against UNC Pembroke on First National Bank Court at CenturyLink Center Omaha (7:00 p.m., tip-off). The first regular-season home game for the Creighton men's basketball team will be on Friday, Nov. 10, when the Bluejays host Yale at 8:00 p.m. McDermott returns starters Marcus Foster and Khyri Thomas among nine letterwinners from last year's NCAA Tournament team that finished 25-10 and was ranked for 16 consecutive weeks. CU has ranked in the top-10 nationally in average home attendance, including fifth last season after the Bluejays averaged 17,413 fans per home game.
Head coach Jim Flanery's women's basketball team will open the season on Thursday, Nov. 1 with an exhibition game against Northern State at D.J. Sokol Arena inside the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center (6:00 p.m., tip-off). The first regular-season home game for the Creighton women's basketball team will be on Friday, Nov. 10, when the Bluejays host Wichita State at 11:30 a.m. The Bluejay women went 24-8 last season, winning a share of the BIG EAST regular-season title. CU reached the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in its' 10th straight postseason appearance. Flanery's club returns 8-of-12 letterwinners, including starters Audrey Faber and Sydney Lamberty, as well as the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Jaylyn Agnew.
