Looking for More Bling, Women's Basketball Officially Begins 2017-18

Omaha, Neb. -- After earning a share of the BIG EAST title last season, the Creighton women's basketball kicked off its first official practice of the 2017-18 season on Sunday, Oct. 1st.
Creighton returns a big three to guide the Bluejays in BIG EAST First Teamer Audrey Faber (12.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg), BIG EAST All-Tournament Team selection Sydney Lamberty (9.4 ppg, 138 assists) and BIG EAST Freshman of the Year Jaylyn Agnew (7.1 ppg, 3.5 rpg).
The Bluejays advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament in 2016-17, finishing the season 24-8 overall and 16-2 in the BIG EAST Conference.
