Men's Soccer Hands Out Hardware At Jeffrey C. Kasch Postseason Banquet

The Bluejays qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the 24th time in the past 25 seasons before ending the 2016 campaign in the third round of the NCAAs with a 2-1 loss against Providence.Â
Creighton ended the year 13-7-3 and ranked No. 15 in the final NSCAAÂ poll.
Individually, Ricardo Perez and Alex Kapp each earned national recognition. Both players made the NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region First Team, and Kapp appeared on the All-America Third Team.Â
Six Bluejays made the All-BIG EAST teams, while Perez was named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year and Kapp claimed BIG EAST Co-Goalkeeper of the Year status.
During the month of January, Perez signed a homegrown contract with the Colorado Rapids, and Kapp was drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft by Atlanta United FC.
Six Bluejays were given individual Creighton awards at Saturday's banquet:
