Bluejay Women's Hoops Announces 2016-17 Non-Conference Schedule

The Bluejays open with a home exhibition contest against Fort Hays State on Nov. 3, but the regular season begins with back-to-back road contests. The Bluejays head to South Dakota State (Nov. 11), then return to a familiar road facing former MVC rival Wichita State in Kansas on Nov. 13. Creighton's first home contest continues the MVC reunion tour as Drake comes to D.J. Sokol Arena on Nov. 17.
The trip to the Bahamas follows as the Bluejays face Missouri on Friday, Nov. 25, then play either Dayton or Georgia Tech the following day.
Creighton returns home to close out November against Kansas (Nov. 30), then hosts Nebraska-Omaha on Dec. 7. The Bluejays take a short bus ride to face Northern Iowa on Dec. 10, then return home for another highlight of the non-conference against Nebraska at home on Dec. 18.
The final non-conference contest of the season will likely lead directly into BIG EAST play as the Bluejays fly east to face Marist on Dec. 21.
Game times has yet to be determined for the contests.
