Â
Scouting the Huskers (2016: 22-10, 7-2 Big Ten)
Six of Nebraska's last eight games since defeating Creighton on March 29 have been decided by two runs or less. The Cornhuskers are 4-2 during those games, including 3-0 in one-run games.
Much of Nebraska's recent success has been because of its late-inning pitching. Reece Eddins leads Nebraska's bullpen with a 1.04 ERA in 34.2 innings pitched over 14 appearances.
Freshman Chad Luensmann recorded his seventh save of the season on Saturday against Northwestern. Luensmann has allowed three earned runs during 22.2 innings (15 appearances). Overall, the Cornhuskers have 9 saves.
Preseason All-American Ryan Boldt and Ben Miller lead the Nebraska offense which has five players holding a batting average above .300. Boldt recorded his 200th career hit on Sunday. Miller leads the team with a .372 average, while Boldt leads the team with 10 doubles, 77 total bases and 16 stolen bases.

Bluejays Best Pirates at Plunder
Coming into the opening BIG EAST series against the NCAA stolen base Seton Hall, Creighton knew controlling the Pirate
running game would be key.
Not only did the Bluejays limit Seton Hall to 3-of-5 stolen bases, Creighton claimed five stolen bags of their own.
Bluejays Amongst National Leaders
Creighton enters Tuesday's contest as the NCAA leader in fewest hits allowed per nine innings at 6.17. The Bluejays also rank in the top five in ERA (2nd - 2.26), WHIP (3rd - 1.00) and in Fielding Percentage (3rd - .983).
