Baseball Contest at Kansas Cancelled Due to Rain

Lawrence, Kan. -- Due to severe weather hitting the city of Lawrence this afternoon and into the evening, Kansas officials elected to postpone Tuesday's baseball game against Creighton until a later date.
Heavy rains and lightning moved into the area near 2:30 and are forecasted to stay throughout the evening. A makeup date for the contest is yet to be determined.
The Bluejays will wrap up their road trip on Wednesday, March 9 at Kansas State. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 pm.
