Faber Named All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention and All-BIG EAST Freshman Team

Omaha, Neb. -- Freshman Audrey Faber earned All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention as well as a spot on the All-BIG EAST Freshman Team on Wednesday, March 2 as All-BIG EAST First Team, Second Team, Honorable Mention and All-Freshman Team honorees were announced in conjunction with the league's major awards.

Faber closed the 2016 regular season with a team-high 393 points (13.1 ppg), including 168 from long range (56 three-pointers). The Iowa native is second for the Bluejays in rebounding (141 boards) and led Creighton in minutes played with 916.

Faber and the Bluejays enter the BIG EAST Tournament on Saturday, March 5th as the No. 7 seed and will take on No. 10 Providence at 2:30 pm in the opening round.
