CLUB/PREP CAREER:  Came to Omaha with multiple national accolades including an All-America honor from National Soccer Coaches Association of America ... Played for the Colorado Rapids Reserves beginning in 2011 when he made his debut at age 15 ... Team captain of the Rapids’ U-18 team in final two seasons under the direction of Brian Crookham ... Ranked as the No. 19 player in the Top Drawer Soccer Boys IMG Academy 150 entering 2013 season ... Also stood fourth in the website’s Rocky Mountain/Southwest Regional Rankings and at No. 10 in the midfielder position rankings ... Played exclusively with the Rapids after two seasons of high school soccer ... Joined the Rapids Academy in 2008 at the U-14 level and played with the Rapids U-16 Team in each of his first four seasons at the club ... Moved up to play with the U-18’s in final two seasons and played in all the games at the 2012 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Finals, where the Rapids U-18s finished sixth in the nation ... That season he scored 10 goals ... Played on a U.S. Club Soccer National Finalist squad in 2009 after winning a Regional Championship along the way ... Earlier in career participated in pair of U.S. U-14 team camps and played on a Colorado State Cup State Championship Team ...
