EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Due
to the potential threat of poor weather and playing conditions later this
weekend, the Creighton and University of Evansville softball teams agreed late this
morning to alter the three-game schedule and move games up a full day beginning
Friday evening at the Purple Aces' Cooper Stadium.
Creighton (14-8) and Evansville (6-10) will begin Missouri
Valley Conference (MVC) action with a twin bill beginning at 6 p.m. CT Friday.
The teams will conclude the series with a single game Saturday at noon.
Live stats and updates via @BluejaySoftball on Twitter will
be available for all three games.
The conference-opening series for both
teams was originally slated to begin with a doubleheader Saturday at noon CT
and a single game on Sunday at noon.
