Creighton vs. Bradley:

Creighton drilled 11-of-21 three-pointers to best Bradley 68-59 at Renaissance Coliseum. Ally Jensen made all five of her three-point field goal attempts and tied Carli Tritz for team-high honors with 15 points. Tritz tied career-highs with eight assists and six steals, while setting a career-high with three blocked shots in the road victory.
The first half proved to be a series of runs, as Creighton used a 7-0 run to claim an early 9-6 lead. The Braves answered with an 8-0 run to go up 14-9. Creighton responded with a 15-2 run to claim a 24-16 advantage with 9:20 left in the half. Creighton took a 34-30 lead into the break.
Bradley scored the first seven points of the second half to regain a 37-34 lead just two minutes into play, but the Jays responded with a 7-3 run to pull ahead for good. Holding a 56-52 edge, the Jays scored the next eight points of the game to take control, 64-52. Consecutive three-pointers from Taylor Johnson and Jensen ended the run.

• The Braves finished 2011-12 with a 18-16 record and a 7-11 mark in the Valley. Bradley returned eight letterwinners from last season, including 2011-12 All-MVC Freshman Team member Shondra Butts.

Scouting the Braves (7-10, 1-5 MVC)
Bradley enters Sunday’s contest having dropped six of its past seven games, including a 66-62 loss at Drake on Friday. The Braves lone MVC win came against Missouri State on Jan. 12, 80-79.
Sophomore Shondra Butts is the driving force for the Braves offense. She had a season-high 29 points in the loss to Bradley on Friday and is averaging 13.7 ppg this season. Butts is a slashing guard that can also shoot from the outside, her FG% is 42.5 overall and 30.6% from beyond the arc. As a team the Braves have made 87 treys, led by 19 from Kelsey Budd.
First year head coach Mike Brooks continues to search for the right mix as the Braves have used several starting lineups, only Budd has started all 17 contests this season.

Near the top of the NCAA all season long, the Bluejays officially lead Division I WBB action with 167 three-pointers in 18 games (9.28), Missouri sits in second place with 185 three-pointers in 20 games (9.25).
