OMAHA, Neb. - Creighton women's soccer head coach Bruce Erickson announced the addition of tranfers Kirstyn Corder (New Hampshire) and Addison Nokels (Iowa State) to the Jays squad for the 2013 spring season.

Corder is a 5-6 midfielder from Overland Park, Kan.  This fall with the Wildcats, Corder appeared in 19 matches, including 17 starts.  An America East All-Rookie Team selection, Corder finished the season with five goals and three assists.  Corder led New Hampshire in points (13), goals, assists, shots (38), shots on goal (20) and game-winning goals (2).

A graduate of Burke HS, Nokels is a 5-3 forward from Omaha, Neb.  Over two seasons at Iowa State, Nokels appeared in a combined 21 matches.  In 2012, she saw action in 11 of the Cyclones' 20 contests.  Nokels recorded one goal and one assist in 2012 and also had an assist in 2011.  Addision comes to Creighton having played in Morrison stadium last season in the season-opening game that saw Iowa State down Creighton, 1-0 in overtime.

"In Kirstyn we are adding a dynamic player to our attack who can score goals. I believe both players will make an immediate impact to our team," said Erickson. "Addison brings two years of experience as a college player to a young team. She is very talented and and can play a number of positions."

"We are excited to add two players with great ability and character to our team this spring. Ironically, we were interested in both players during the initial recruitment process prior to college," noted Erickson.
