This
is Richardson’s first year with Creighton Rowing. A Washington Metro Area
native, Richardson began his rowing career in the fall of 2005 at Gonzaga
College High School. Almost immediately pegged as a coxswain, he would compete
across much of the Northeast during his interscholastic rowing career. Richardson
rowed all four years at Marquette University, during which served as coxswain
for both the varsity women and men respectively. During his collegiate career he would find success, medaling
several times. However, his two proudest moments were being the coxswain to the
boats that would win gold at the final Indianapolis Collegiate Invite, and a 4th
place finish at the 2009 Head of the Charles, the world’s largest two day
regatta.
Richardson
graduated Marquette in May of 2012 with a BA in International Affairs. While in
college he served as co-President of the Executive board for Marquette’s club
Rowing team in the 2010-2011 academic year. He also served as the Volunteer
Assistant Coxswains Coach for the Milwaukee School of Engineering during the
2011-2012 Academic year. Currently
Richardson is working on his Juris Doctorate from Creighton’s School of Law,
with hopes of achieving a certificate in International Law as well.
