Patty Galas is in her 18th season as the administrative assistant for the Creighton men’s basketball program. In her position, she is responsible for providing administrative support to coach Greg McDermott and the men’s basketball staff.
As part of her duties, Galas coordinates team travel, manages coach McDermott’s calendar and correspondence, makes all arrangements for tournament and post-season play, and organizes the monthly Greg McDermott Luncheons.
Galas also serves as the administrative assistant to Creighton’s athletic director, Bruce Rasmussen, and provides administrative support to other staff members.
She is also active in the Teammates mentoring program and St. Bernadette’s Parish in Bellevue.
She resides in Omaha and is the proud mother of three daughters. She also enjoys spending time with her four granddaughters and three grandsons.
