OMAHA, Neb. -- The Creighton-Wichita State baseball game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday night at Rosenblatt Stadium has been postponed due to cold temperatures and a wintry mix of snow, rain and wind in the Omaha area. The teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday, with nine-inning games now scheduled for 1 and 4:30 p.m.

Friday’s ticket will be good for the second game of the doubleheader on Sunday, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. The games originally scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. will still be played at those times, with no affect on tickets.

Rosenblatt will be cleared between games one and two on Sunday to allow for those with Friday tickets to enter for the nightcap. Game two will not start before 4:30 p.m.

All media credentials and parking passes already distributed for Friday’s game should be kept and will be honored on Sunday, along with those already assigned for Sunday.

Saturday’s game will still be broadcast on WOWT 6.20 (Cox Channel 120) and by Kansas City’s Metro Sports. The first game Sunday will remain on Nebraska Educational Television (NET-1 and NET-HD) as scheduled. Game two will again be broadcast by WOWT 6.20.

All three games of the series can be heard on KOZN (1620 AM) and on www.1620thezone.com.
