Corder exploded on the scene for Creighton in her first season as a Bluejay by leading her team in goals (7), points (14) and game-winning goals (4) ... Kirstyn recorded her first goal as a Bluejay on Aug. 30, notching the first goal in Creighton’s 6-0 win over North Dakota ... Corder raised the bar in the next game, tallying two goals in the 6-1 win over Idaho on Sept. 8 ... Kirstyn posted back-to-back game winning goals in early October, notching the decisive mark in the 3-2 win over Providence (Oct. 3) and the lone goal in the Bluejays’ 1-0 win at Seton Hall (Oct. 6) ... That performance earned Corder the nod as the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 7.
2012 (Freshman at New Hampshire):
Kirstyn appeared in 19 games, including 17 starts in her lone season at New Hampshire ... She led the Wildcats with 13 points, consisting of team-high five goals and three assists ... An America East All-Rookie Team Selection, Corder was named the America East Rookie of the Week (Sept. 10) after collecting a goal and an assist in a 2-2 tie with Rhode Island on Sept. 7.
Corder graduated from Olathe East HS in 2012 ... The team captain, Kirstyn notched a school-record 41 goals in 2012 to help the Hawks claim the Kansas state title ... Corder led Olathe East to a perfect 21-0 record (2012), becoming first team in Kansas to accomplish the feat... OEHS was ranked No. 1 in the nation on NSCAA.com (June ‘12) ... Tabbed as the Sunflower League MVP, First Team All-State and First Team All-Sunflower League, Corder was also named an NSCAA All-American in 2012 ... In addition, Kirstyn nabbed a spot on the All-State First Team squad in 2011 and honorable mention in 2010.
