Houston Baptist University took the team title shooting a 926. Eastern Washington came in second with a 932 and Arkansas State claimed third place with a 937.
The Jays finished with a team score of 1003. North Dakota State’s Amy Anderson finished first with a 209, 14 shots ahead of Marissa Borja (223) of Eastern Washington.
Senior Celeste Gassman led the Jays. She finished tied for 29th shooting a 242. Sophomores Rachel Thompson and Katie Morel both finished tied for 48th shooting a 251.
Freshman Grace Yowell (62nd, 262) and sophomore Mary Cathryn Rau (67th, 278) also competed in the invite.
The Jays get to spend a little more time in Nevada as they compete in the Bison Invitational on March 14-15 in Las Vegas.
