CREIGHTON CAREER: 2011 (Junior) – Made seven starts in 15 appearances, hurling three complete games ... Appeared in four MVC games, including two starts in conference play ... Recorded a five-inning no-hitter against Centenary at the UT Arlington Classic on Feb. 25 ... Struck out five and walked one in the no-hitter ... Followed her no-hitter with four scoreless innings, picking up the win in relief against UTA (Feb. 26) ... Her nine scoreless innings at the UT Arlington Classic earned MVC Pitcher of the Week and MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week honors ... Struck out a season-high seven in a season-high seven innings against New Mexico State (March 4) ... Fanned five in 3.2 innings of relief against Bradley (April 3) ... Picked up her third win of the season with six strikeouts and no walks, allowing three hits and one run in 4.2 innings of work against North Dakota (April 12), her only home start of the season ... Made her final start of the season on April 16 against Wichita State and her final appearance on April 17 against the Shockers.

2010 (Sophomore) – Made 12 starts and 11 relief appearances in the circle ... Went 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA in her final seven appearances ... Was 2-2 with a 4.09 ERA in MVC play, earning wins over Northern Iowa (April 17) and Evansville (May 8) ... Appeared in 10 Valley games, making six starts ... Went 3-2 with a 3.50 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 38 innings pitched at home ... Tied season-highs with seven strikeouts against Idaho State (March 6) and North Dakota State (April 5) ... Pitched in relief against both Notre Dame and Oregon on Feb. 12 ... Earned her first start of the year against Oregon State (Feb. 13), lasting three innings in the 5-3 Bluejay win ... Pitched four innings, allowed three hits and struck out four in a combined 1-0 shutout of Samford (March 5) ... Picked up her first win of the year against Idaho State (March 6), striking out seven in four scoreless innings of relief ... 2009 (Freshman) – 
All 15 pitching appearances were starts ... Tossed seven complete games, including a five-inning, one-hit shutout of Detroit (Feb. 13) in her collegiate debut ... Was 3-2 with a 1.88 ERA in six MVC starts ... Hurled a complete game and allowed one run in her first MVC start at Evansville (March 14) ... Also had MVC wins over Bradley (April 4) and Indiana State (April 10) ... Combined with Tara Oltman for shutouts of Bradley (April 4) and Northern Iowa (April 7) ... Struck out career-high eight in just 4.2 innings against Bradley ... Of her 35 earned runs allowed, 16 came in one game against No. 13 Arizona (March 7), while five of her 10 doubles and four of her seven home runs allowed came in that game as well ... Was 6-4 with a 2.05 ERA and 60 hits allowed in 65 innings outside of the Arizona contest.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Tabbed first-team all-state, all-area and all-conference as a junior and senior ... Tabbed the All-Metro Conference Pitcher of the Year as a junior after posting a 19-4 record ... Named the honorary captain of the first-team all-state Class A squad as a senior when she posted a 26-4 record, tossed 192 innings, struck out 336 and recorded a 0.55 earned run average ... Helped lead the Monarchs to back-to-back state championships during her junior and senior seasons ... Earned four letters in softball ...  Played club softball for the Omaha Quakes Gold.

PERSONAL: The daughter of Sherry and Curt Hovinga, Kylie was born on July 9, 1990, in Ralston, Neb. ... Elementary education major ... Has a younger sister, Karissa (19), who is a freshman pitcher at Oregon ... Pitched for the Canadian Senior Women’s National Team in the Canada Cup in July, 2009.
