Due to Sunday Rain, Hoyas and Bluejays to Play Two on Saturday
OMAHA, Neb. - Due to dreary forecasts for Sunday, April 13 the Creighton baseball series with Georgetown has been altered.
The two teams will play Friday's BIG EAST opener as scheduled at 6:30 pm, then play two games on Saturday, April 12 beginning at 12 pm. The final game of the series will be played approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of the Saturday's first game.
Friday night will mark the first conference game for Creighton baseball as members of the BIG EAST. The entire series, Friday night as well as the doubleheader on Saturday, will still be carried on 1620 AM.
Tickets for Saturday game will be good for both games of the doubleheader. Tickets for Sunday's game can be redeemed for any remaining regular season home games (excluding the Tuesday, April 29 Nebraska at Creighton game) at the Creighton Ticket Office located inside the Ryan Athletic Center (open 9 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays) or at the TD Ameritrade Park Omaha Box Office on game days starting one hour prior to first pitch.
This is the ninth and tenth games of the 2014 affected by weather.
