Servais on Furlong:
“Brian played here at Creighton for one season before transferring to Iowa. We brought Furlong aboard to try to grow our Creighton baseall camps. Thus far I think he has done a nice job with that. He is also helping with video arrangements. It’ll be interesting to see how we can use him this spring, because he brings a lot of experience. He was around the Iowa program for a few years, he has a good knowledge of pitching. So when we get into breaking down video of games, he’ll be a big part of that. We are lucky to have him, he is a hard working guy. ”
