OMAHA, Neb. - Creighton and the Women's National Invitation Tournament have announced the game time and ticket information for Friday's first round game with Stephen F. Austin. The Bluejays (20-10) and Ladyjacks (18-10) will tip off at 7:05 p.m. at D.J. Sokol Arena inside the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center.
Creighton women’s basketball season ticket holders will be able to purchase their same seat locations for Friday's game by stopping by the Ryan Athletic Center Ticket Office Wednesday from 10:00 a.m., to 6:00 p.m. (Phone or e-mail orders from CU women’s basketball season ticket holders cannot be accepted). Season ticket holders will need to show identification at the window and they will be allowed to purchase season ticket seat locations on behalf of other season ticket holders by completing a short form at the window. Relatives, friends and colleagues of season ticket holders are also allowed to purchase season ticket seat locations on behalf of season ticket holders by completing a short form at the window.
As per WNIT rule, there are no complimentary tickets. Ticket prices are $16 each for table seats (adult or youth) and $9 each for reserved seats (adult or youth). The Ryan Athletic Center Ticket Office will accept personal checks for WNIT game ticket payment – made payable to Creighton Athletics – in addition to cash or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express). Reserved seats not sold during the regular season as season tickets will be available for purchase to the general public via Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m., Wednesday (Ticketmaster outlets - Bakers, Younkers; Ticketmaster by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com).
The game will also be broadcast live on KOIL AM 1180 in Omaha and online at www.koilam1180.com. Creighton and the WNIT will also provide a free live video webcast at www.gocreighton.com, where fans can also follow live stats for the first round game.
The winner of Friday night's game will move on to play the winner of Wednesday's first round game between Prairie View A&M at Kansas. The second round game site and time will be determined following first round action.
