Wahlert Catholic High School
Leytem earned a combined 12 letters as a Golden Eagle in basketball (four), cross country (four) and track (four) ... A four-year starter at Wahlert Catholic, Leytem closed her career with 937 points in 90 games, an average of 10.4 points per game ... As a senior she set the school single-season record with 408 points ... She earned First Team All-State recognition following the 2011-12 season, as well as first team all-conference and the Dubuque Area Player of the Year .... Leytem also excelled in the classroom, earning membership in the National Honor Society.
