Men's Hoops Meets Media; Provides Injury Updates

OMAHA, Neb. -- Creighton men's basketball coach Greg McDermott, senior forward Doug McDermott and junior guard Avery Dingman met the media on Wednesday to discuss Tuesday night's win at DePaul, as well as the injury status of Doug McDermott and Grant Gibbs

Doug McDermott was diagnosed with a sprained AC joint in his shoulder and is day-to-day.

Gibbs, a senior guard, has been diagnosed with a dislocated kneecap. He is expected to miss at least four weeks, though coach Greg McDermott called it "as good of news as we could have hoped for".

Creighton (13-2, 3-0 BIG EAST) returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Xavier at 2:05 pm.
