2009: Junior at Creighton • Led team with 516 digs and 43 aces in her first season as a Bluejay. • Ranked third in the MVC in aces per set (0.37) and seventh in digs per set (4.49). • Ranked 64th nationally in aces per set and 86th nationally in digs per set. • Topped team in digs 22 times overall, including each of the first 15 matches. • Served five consecutive aces in second set of match at Missouri State (Oct. 30). • Opened her career with 15 digs against Texas Tech (Aug. 28), most in school history for a debut. • Named to Bluejay Invitational All-Tournament Team. • Became only player in Creighton history to post consecutive matches of 30 or more digs when she had 30 at Illinois State (Sept. 26) and followed that on Oct. 2 with a career-best 36 digs in win over No. 25 Wichita State. • Second-fastest player in Creighton history to reach 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 career digs. • Had at least one ace in each of the last eight matches. • Her 516 digs rank third-most in Creighton single-season history and her 4.49 digs per set were fourth-best in school history. Western Nebraska CC • Named a 2008 NJCAA First-Team All-America as a sophomore. • Named All-Region IX both years. • Led the Division I junior college ranks with 108 aces while ranking fourth with 0.701 aces per set. • Named to Omaha World-Herald All-Nebraska Junior College Team as a sophomore. • Had 539 digs as a sophomore and 571 digs as a freshman. • Served a school-record 250 career aces, and also accumulated 1,110 career digs. • Team went 113-6 in her two seasons, including the 2007 national title (54-2) and a third-place finish in 2008 (59-4). • Named to all-tournament team at the 2007 national championship. • Played in 301 sets while at WNCC. • Coached by Giovana Melo as a sophomore and Chris Green as a freshman. • Hails from the same junior college as Creighton’s previous libero, fellow San Juan native Bianca Rivera. • Had been an outside hitter prior to arriving at WNCC and being moved to libero for the first time.
