OMAHA, Neb. - Creighton men's soccer head coach Bob Warming has announced the signing of Dion Acoff to a National Letter of Intent.  The Upland, Calif., native will join the Bluejays this fall.

A forward, Acoff recorded the fastest 20-meter time in the US Soccer Development Academy Showcase last summer.  His mark of 2.61 seconds was tops among all players in attendance.  Acoff plays club soccer for the Arsenal FC in Southern California and attends Damien High School.

"Dion, while still raw, has tremendous upside in his game," said Warming of the future Bluejay.  "He is hungry to learn and it will be exciting to track his progress as a player over the next four years."
