OMAHA, Neb. - The Creighton men’s soccer team kicks off the 2014 season with its annual Blue-White Scrimmage scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on Friday.

This will be the first chance for fans to see fourth-year head coach Elmar Bolowich’s 2014 squad in action at Morrison Stadium. This year’s scrimmage will consist of two 30-minute halves as opposed to the regulation 45-minute halves.

Bolowich leads the Jays in their quest for the program’s 22nd NCAA Tournament appearance in the past 23 seasons in 2014. Creighton returns 15 letterwinners and eight starters from last year's team.

Five 2013 All-BIG EAST selections return for the Bluejays including last year’s leading scorer in junior Timo Pitter alongside senior Jose Ribas, junior Brendan Hines-Ike and sophomores Fabian Herbers and Ricardo Perez.

Creighton travels to Wisconsin-Milwaukee for an exhibition match on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT. Both squads received votes in the 2014 NSCAA Preseason Poll released last week.
