Creighton Athletics will host an open house at the Rev. Michael G. Morrison, S.J., Stadium from 5:30-6:00 p.m., on Friday (Aug. 17), just prior to the gates opening for the No. 3-ranked Bluejays men’s soccer exhibition match against the No. 9-ranked Maryland Terrapins (7 p.m., kick-off time). Fans without season tickets or single-game tickets to the Creighton-Maryland match can tour the venue and receive information on both 2012 season tickets (cost, available seat locations) and men’s soccer Jaybacker benefits of membership during the 30-minute open house.
Ticket holders who are not currently 2012 men’s soccer Jaybackers are invited to sample the Club Lounge Friday night. The Club Lounge is the hospitality area located on the upper level of the stadium which offers a friendly sports bar feel with snacks, a cash bar and large televisions including a live feed of the Bluejay match as well as other sporting events. Entry to the upper level will be allowed next Friday night starting at 5:30 p.m., through the end of the match by showing game tickets for access at either the north or south staircase or the elevator at the main entrance on the west side of the venue. An $8.00 per-person meal (soft drink included) will be available for purchase in the Club Lounge throughout the evening. The meal will include smoked brisket sandwich, grilled bratwurst sausage, kettle chips, potato or broccoli salad as well as assorted soft drinks and beverages.
