Men's Soccer Announces Recruiting Class

OMAHA, Neb. -- Twelve men, including four transfers, are part of the Creighton men's soccer recruiting class for 2012. The group will help offset the loss of seven starters, including four MLS draft picks, from last year's team that finished 21-2-1 and reached the College Cup.

"Because we lost so many players from last year's team, it was vital for our program's success to recruit well, and I'm excited about the 12 coming in," said CU head coach Elmar Bolowich.

"We lost pretty much every player down the spine of our team, from goalkeeper to center forward. They are hard to replace, because it's also a ton of experience. A lot of these guys have to step up. We are very happy that we have a balanced class of transfers and incoming freshmen."
