Chris Schuler ('09) started 25 matches and posted three goals for Real Salt Lake this season to help lead RSL to the postseason. The former Jay netted his first goal for RSL since 2011 when he scored the first of two goals against D.C. on Aug. 9. He added another on Sept. 19 against Colorado. Schuler notched his second career assist and first point of the season, against Montreal on July 24.
Seth Sinovic (’09) started 31 matches this season for MLS defending champ Sporting Kansas City. His team will begin defense of the Cup Oct. 30 against New York. He posted his first point of the season with an assist at Portland on June 27. He added his second helped of the year against New York on Sept. 6.
Mehdi Ballouchy started his first MLS game in just over a year for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 19 at Real Salt Lake playing 63 minutes. Ballouchy made three starts and nine appearances after returning to the pitch following ACL surgeries on both knees within the space of 11 months. Vancouver takes FC Dallas tonight in the Knockout Round opener.
In his first professional campaign former Bluejay Eric Miller started 18 matches for the Montreal Impact, playing a full 90 minutes in three of his final four contests. Since then he has made two starts and four appearances on the pitch. Miller scored his first career point with an assist against Houston on June 29. Montreal missed the playoffs in 2014.
