2013 (Freshman):
The starting keeper in every match in 2013, Rice recorded four shutouts as well as a shared one ... Danielle played over 1,600 minutes last season, allowing just 25 goals for a 1.38 goals against average ... One of Rice’s best stretches of 2013 came during Creighton’s seven-match winning streak (Aug. 30 - Sept. 20) as she allowed just five goals in over 600 minutes
(0.75 GAA) ... During that stretch Rice recorded her first two solo shutouts (at UMKC and vs. South Dakota) to earn the BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week on Sept. 17.

High School:
Rice graduated from Keller HS in 2013, where she earned a combined four letters in soccer (three) and cross country (one) ... Rice served as the Keller team captain as a senior and claimed District 7-5A Second Team honors as a junior ... Off the pitch, Rice ran in half marathons and volunteered at the Keller Storehouse.

Club Team:
Danielle excelled at the club level, playing a combined 3,960 minutes in her final three seasons for the Dallas Sting ...Rice allowed just 12 goals in 91 matches, which equates to a 0.27 goals against average ... In that span, the Sting were 68-7-16.

The daughter of Randy and Wendy Rice, Danielle was born on Aug. 8, 1995  in Keller, Texas ... An exercise science major, Rice has four siblings, Chris (36), Greg (33), Rick (28) and Jared (27).
