Creighton opened the second half on an 11-2 run as the lead ballooned to 59-32, thanks to four points by McDermott and consecutive three-ball's from Wragge.

Creighton moved its second-leading scorer, Wragge, into the starting five, but the Bluejay bench provided the spark and finished with 37 points.
