Works closed out her high school career by earning the Nebraska Coaches Association’s (NCA) Most Valuable Teammate in the NCA All-Star game in July ... Playing both the point and off guard positions for Lincoln Southwest, Works was a four-year letterwinner for the Silverhawks ... Works scored a school record 1,314 points and holds the Silverhawk record for points in a game (32) ... Following her senior season, Works was named to the Super State Team by both the Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star ... Lauren hit 42.5 percent of her threes as a senior,  also averaging 3.5 assists and three steals a game ... She averaged 16.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game in 2012-13 ...
