• Led the Thunderbolts to three state tournament appearances, finishing as runner-up his sophomore season, fifth-place his junior year and fourth-place his senior year.
• Earned varsity letters in baseball his sophomore through senior season, while also picking up a letter in wrestling his freshman year.
• Named Omaha World-Herald first-team all-city, Omaha World-Herald first-team all-state and played in the Cornhusker League All-Star game in both his junior and senior seasons.
• Selected to represent Team Nebraska in a tournament in Chicago in July of 2010.
• Played for the Ultimate Baseball Academy Elite Team in fall of 2009 and the StrikeZone Elite Team in the fall of 2010.
