CREIGHTON CAREER: 2011 (Freshman) – Appeared in 31 games, making nine starts as the designated player and five at first base ... Ranked third on the team with 14 walks, despite ranking ninth on the team in plate appearances ... Ranked second on the team with 13 pinch-hit at bats ... Half of her 10 hits went for extra bases – three home runs and two doubles ... All three of her home runs on the season came within a seven game span (March 5-12) at Arizona State’s Farrington Stadium ... Earned two walks in three different games ... Collected a pinch-hit RBI single in her first career at bat against Western Illinois on Feb. 11 ... Was hit by a pitch, walked twice, scored a run and had an RBI in her first career start, a CU win over South Dakota State (Feb. 12) ... Went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against Centenary (Feb. 25) ... Hit her first career home run, a two-run shot against Northern Iowa (March 5) ... HIGH SCHOOL: Named the Council Bluffs Daily Nonpareil Player of the Year in each of her four seasons ... Named first-team all-state three times, after earning honorable mention nod as a freshman ... Selected honorary captain of the All-Western Iowa 4A Team as a senior and four-time All-Western Iowa 4A team by Omaha World-Herald ... Her school-record 18 home runs as a senior led all of Iowa ... Finished career with school and city record 39 home runs ... Went 20-6 with a 0.90 ERA and 200 strikeouts as a senior, when she hit .436 with 18 homers, 15 doubles and 44 RBI ... Hit career-high .495 with career-best 46 RBI as a sophomore ... Posted a 76-24 career record with 730 strikeouts in her prep career.
