2011-2012 (Fort Scott CC)
  • Swain took the ball 10 times for Fort Scott in 2012, tossing 54.1 innings to lead the team and posted a 2-3 record.
  • Brett allowed just 13 earned runs (2.15 ERA) as a sophomore, recording 45 strikeouts and issuing just 23 walks. 
  • Swain appeared in 11 games as a freshman, hurling 41.0 innings.  He closed his freshman campaign with a 4.20 ERA, allowing 31 hits, 15 earned runs and notching 35 strikeouts.
  • Named  NJCAA Baseball Player of the Week on Feb. 29, 2012.  Swain dealt a seven-inning, complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and three walks in Fort Scott’s 6-0 win over Muscatine CC (Iowa) 6-0 on Feb. 25.

2007-10 (Skutt Catholic High School)
  • A two-year letter winner at Skutt Catholic, Swain was named All-Nebraska Honorable Mention following his senior season.
  • Swain was among the Class B leaders in wins as a senior with five.  He also ranked amongst the top in Class B leaders in ERA (1.98) and strikeouts with 63. 
  • Swain recorded two saves in 2010.
