• Scored his 1,000th career point in his 57th game, a win vs. SIU (Jan. 15).
• Scored 30 points, including 12 of team’s last 16 points, at Drake on 10-14 shooting (Jan. 25).
• Set a BracketBusters record with 36 points while adding 11 rebounds in two-point win over Long Beach State (Feb. 18).
• Had 33 points in MVC Tourney final vs. Illinois State (March 4), most in a final since the tourney moved to St. Louis in 1991 and tying CU’s tourney record.
• Had 11th double-double of year with 16 points and 10 rebounds vs. Alabama in NCAA Tournament victory (March 16).
• Had 20 points, nine rebounds vs. No. 4 North Carolina (March 18).
• Made 56 baskets with his left hand, and 174 field goals off the backboard.
• Also named MVC Tournament MVP, becoming the sixth player to win MVC Player of the Year and Tourney MVP honors in a career.
• In the MVC, led league in scoring, second in rebounding, double-doubles and three-point percentage, third in field goal percentage, offensive rebounding and defensive rebounding and fifth in minutes per game.

• Averaged a team-high 24.3 points per game in 21.0 minutes per game.
• Made 66.1 percent from the field and 87.5 percent at the line.
• Had games of 27, 29, 26 and 15 points while also grabbing 18 rebounds in one tilt.
Summer 2011: U19 Team USA
• Was one of 12 players selected to represent USA Basketball at the U19 FIBA World Championships in Riga, Latvia.
• Team tied for best record in the event at 7-2 and earned fifth place, including wins over gold medalist Lithuania and silver medalist Serbia.
• Ranked third on team in scoring (11.3 ppg.) and rebounding (6.1 rpg.) while leading the club with 13 three-pointers made and 39.4 percent marksmanship from downtown.
• Started all nine games, leading team in scoring and rebounding twice each.
• Teammates included potential 2012-13 opponents Tony Mitchell (North Texas) and Jahii Carson (Arizona State).

• His 581 points were most by a freshman in MVC history and most by a newcomer in Creighton history.

• Third freshman nationally since 2002 with 525+ points, 270+ rebounds and 40+ three-pointers, joining Carmelo Anthony (Syracuse) and Kevin Durant (Texas).

• Named First-Team All-State by the Iowa Newspaper Association and Des Moines Register after averaging 20.1 points and 7.8 rebounds as a senior.
• Scored 542 points as a senior, fourth-most in school history, and his 393 career rebounds rank fifth in Ames history.
• Was high school teammate of Golden State Warriors lottery pick and current rookie Harrison Barnes.
• Led team with 21 points in 2010 state title game, a 47-37 win over Southeast Polk.
• Was named Old Spice Player of the Game after recording 25 points and 12 rebounds in 87-59 win over Waukegan, in game televised by ESPN.
• Prep team is generally regarded as the best in Iowa history and won 53 straight over his final two years, including back-to-back state titles.

• Named Second-Team All-State as a junior after averaging 16.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game despite coming off the bench.
