A member of the Creighton Athletic Department since 1970, Carol Ketcham has served in her current position of Athletic Development Officer and Director of Special Events since 1997.
In her current role, Ketcham manages all major fundraising activities and events for the Athletics Department. Creighton has raised over $200,000 during each of the past four years for the Bluejay Jamboree and $120,000 for the Bluejay Bash. Ketcham played an integral role in the $2 million fundraising process for CU's new Student-Athlete Support Center.
From 1995-97, Ketcham served as Athletic Ticket Manager and Special Events Coordinator, where she managed the men's basketball season ticket and Jaybacker membership sales campaigns.
As Senior Woman Administrator at Creighton (1990-95), Ketcham served as the school's Compliance Officer, assisted in game administration, and assisted the Athletics Director in the daily operations of the University Athletics Dept.
Ketcham was Administrative Assistant to the Athletics Director from 1978-90, where she helped analyze and manage the University's Athletics budget. She served as co-Tournament Director of the College Softball World Series and added sports information responsibilities for the College Baseball World Series. She also assisted in advertisement sales, wrote press releases and coordinated transportation for travel and staff.
Ketcham joined Creighton in 1970 with a five-year run as Clerk Typist, after which she spent three years (1975-78) as Secretary to Athletics Director.
She was awarded with the Creighton University Distinguished Services Administrator Award in 1990.
