The Jays also won four duals, defeating Knox College (15-50), Northern Illinois (22-37), Robert Morris (15-50) and Illinois-Chicago (22-39).
Sawle finished 20th overall with at time of 19:37. Barry was only 21 seconds behind her teammate finishing 26th overall, clocking in at 19:58.
Sophomore Meagan Wilderson was third to cross the line for the Jays finishing 35th overall with a 20:20 clip. Junior Izzy Squires finished at 20:44 good for 46th. Freshman Jessica Johnson rounds out the Bluejay top five completing the 5,000-meter course in 21:03 and finished 49th.
Sophomore Lauren Hintz (62nd, 21:34) and Freshman Katie Huyck (64th, 21:42) completed the Bluejay field.
Hilary Orf of Saint Louis University finished first overall with a time of 17:47 on the 5K course.
The Bluejay men's and women's teams hit the trail next Saturday, Sept. 17, when they travel to Lincoln, Neb., for the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational. Competition begins at 10 am.
