OMAHA, Neb. - Known for consistently playing one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country, the Creighton women's basketball team outdid themselves in 2014-15 by adding a road game against the two-time defending champion Connecticut on Nov. 24.
While UCONN is certainly the biggest name on the Bluejays schedule this season, the Huskies are far from the lone test awaiting Creighton in 2014-15.
The season begins with an exhibition contests with Minnesota State-Mankato on Nov. 5, then Creighton opens the regular season at Wichita State (Nov. 15) and at South Dakota State (Nov. 18).

Creighton heads out to Storrs, Conn. on Nov. 24, then will play in the California-Berkeley Thanksgiving Tournament on Nov. 28 and 29. Creighton opens the tournament against Cincinnati on Nov. 28 and will face either San Jose State or California the following night on Nov. 29.
The final road game in non-conference play sends the Bluejays to Cedar Falls, Iowa to face Northern Iowa on Dec. 8.
Creighton returns home for the ensuing four games beginning on Dec. 11 as the Bluejays face the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Another former MVC rival returns to D.J. Sokol Arena on Dec. 14 as Drake comes to town. The local trifecta is completed on Dec. 20 as Nebraska-Omaha faces Creighton.
