Entering the game Sova had career-highs of 5.2 innings and 82 pitches, he needed just 83 pitches to toss the complete game on Friday as he struck out four and did not walk a batter.

The following day, Sova showed his resolve by coming on in the 12th inning for the final two outs to record his ninth save of the season helping the Bluejays clinch their first BIG EAST Conference championship in any sport.

Sova opened the week by picking up his eighth save in  Creighton's 10-8 win over Stephen F. Austin.

During the week he tossed 10.2 innings, allowing just four runs on 10 hits. He struck out five men and did not allow a walk.
