Following an 0-2-0 start the the season, the Jays have won four straight for the first time since a program-record 10-match win streak in 2010. A scoring explosion has keyed the winning streak as the Bluejays have 18 goals in just six matches, including 16 goals in three matches at Morrison Stadium.
Creighton has at least one goal from 11 different players, led by freshman Paige Jarsombeck

Similar to Creighton, the Coyotes are feeling much better about 2013 than they did in 2012 (2-13-3). South Dakota is riding a four-match undefeated streak. The Coyotes had won three straight but settled for a scoreless tie with Nevada on Sept. 8. Coyote goalkeeper Mackenzie Viktor has allowed just six goals in 588:33 minutes, a 0.92 goals against average (GAA).Scouting Montana (2-2-2, 0-0-0 Big Sky):
The Grizzlies face Omaha on Friday, before coming to Morrison. Montana won both matches last week, downing Houston Baptist (1-0) and Utah Valley (3-1). The Grizzlies have struggled to score this season, posting just six goals, but keeper Kendra McMillen has kept them in every match with 23 saves and a 0.93 GAA.Series with South Dakota - 6-0-0

KC Masterpiece for Buckner
- With 18 goals in 2013, the Jays have equalled their scoring output of 2012 (18).
- Creighton’s scoring outburst (16 goals in three home matches) is the Jays’ highest three match stretch since 1990, when they put up 22 goals against Benedictine (10-0), Tarkio (4-0) and Missouri Valley (8-0)
- 11 different Bluejays have contributed goals this season
- The total grows to 14 Jays with at least one point.
Hometown girl Madelyn Buckner
shined in her return to the Kansas City area, scoring the lone goal in Creighton’s 1-0 win over UMKC on Sept. 10. Buckner’s goal was a one-touch on a corner play from Jill Richgels
in the 12th minute.
The UMKC match was a homecoming for three Jays as Buckner and Kirstyn Corder
hail from Overland Park, Kan. (20 minutes south), while Lauren Sullivan
is from KC.
