Twitter site for Bluejay softball, head softball coach Brent Vigness and head men's basketball coach Greg McDermott.
Both pages will be moderated by the Creighton Sports
Information office, with assistance from Creighton Athletic Marketing.
Here's a brief description that focuses on the difference between the two new sources of information:
Twitter - Created in 2006, Twitter is a social networking and microblogging
service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets.
Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's
profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers.
Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or,
by default, allow open access.
Facebook - Founded in 2003, Facebook is a website where users can create profiles with photos, lists of personal interests,
contact information and other personal information. Users can add friends and send them messages, and update their personal
profiles to notify friends about themselves. Additionally, users can
join networks organized by workplace, school, or college. Anyone over the age of 13 with a valid e-mail
address can become a Facebook user.
