2008-09: Sophomore at Creighton
• Second-team all-MVC selection after becoming the first sophomore since 2001-02 to be named preseason all-Valley.
• Started 31 of 34 games, ranking second on the team with 12.5 points per game.
• Ranked fifth in the MVC in steals per game (1.4), 10th in points per game (12.5) and 12th in free-throw percentage (74.3).
• Had a career-high 30 points in season-opening win over New Mexico (Nov. 16).
• Scored 18 points in 19 minutes off the bench in win over Mississippi Valley State (Dec. 2).
• Had 14 points and seven steals in win over Southern (Dec. 15), tying him for the most steals in a game in Dana Altman’s 15-year tenure at CU.
• Made career-high six three-pointers in eight attempts en route to 22 points in win at Indiana State (Dec. 31).
• Had 29 points on 8-of-14 shooting (5-8 from  three-point range) in overtime win over Southern Illinois (Jan. 14), playing a career-high 39 minutes.

2007-08: Freshman at Creighton
• Honorable-mention all-MVC, the only freshman named to the team.
• Swept MVC Freshman and Newcomer of the Year awards, the first player to do so since 2000 and fifth all-time.
• Led all MVC newcomers in scoring (12.6) and steals (1.6) per game.
• Three-time MVC Newcomer of the Week and one-time MVC Player of the Week.
• Named CollegeHoops.net High Major Freshman of the Year as well as earning a spot on the site’s High-Major All-Freshman Team.
• Started 18 of the final 19 games after coming off the bench in the first 14 contests.
• Became first freshman to lead Creighton in scoring since Rodney Buford (1995-96) and his 416 points were five shy of Buford’s freshman record.
• Scored 23 points -- all in the second half -- in season-opening win over DePaul (Nov. 9).
• Those 23 points were the most in a Bluejay debut since 1969 (Cyril Baptiste) and most by any CU player in a half since Kyle Korver in 2002.
• Had 22 points and seven rebounds against Illinois State (Dec. 29), the most points by a Bluejay in their MVC debut since Rod Mason in 1987.
• Scored 24 points while also grabbing six rebounds in win over UNI (Feb. 5).
• Had 22 points, career-high eight rebounds and three steals in NIT win over Rhode Island (March 18).
• Also dished assist for Cavel Witter’s game-winning three-pointer against URI.
• Had game-high 18 points, including free throw for the final point of a 50-49 win at Missouri State (Jan. 5).
• Had 16 points, including go-ahead free throws with 1:09 left, and took a key late charge in three-point road win at Wichita State (Jan. 12), which was his first career start.
• Scored in double-figures in 12 of his last 14 games.

Brewster Academy
• Averaged 14 points per game as team finished 29-6 and ranked fifth nationally among prep schools.
• Named to National Prep School Invitational All-Tournament Team and Most Outstanding Player of the Chris Polak Classic.

Palo Verde HS
• Helped team take first-ever state title in 2003-04 and was state runner-up the following campaign.
• Three-time all-conference pick and two-time first-team all-state selection.
• Named Nevada 4A Player of the Year for 2005-06.
• Played in the Nevada All-Star Game as a senior, leading his team with 12 points.
• Shot 57 percent from the field and scored nine or more points every game of his senior year, with a high of 37 points.
• Averaged 19.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.8 steals per game as a senior.
• Averaged 27.6 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.1 steals per game as a junior, including 35 points in state semifinal victory.
• Named MVP of the Las Vegas Prep Championship Tournament.
• Coached by Paul Aznarez and Phil Clarke in high school.
• Won the Phase 1 Sports Annual Senior All-Star Game’s Slam Dunk Contest in June of 2006.
